Asteroids Goddesses in Relationship

Integrating traditional and archetypal approaches to astrology, this two-day seminar will explore the influences of the asteroids in giving depth and nuance to the topic of relationship, both in the individual natal chart and in the synastry contacts between two charts.

Day One – Asteroids and the Individual’s Capacity for Relationship
This day will begin with an introduction to traditional guidelines for describing a person’s approach, needs, and challenges in bringing about and maintaining successful relationship interactions. It follows with a discussion about the unique issues that Ceres, Pallas, Juno and Vesta constellate when they occupy the 7th house, are configured to the ruler of the 7th or to Venus. The day concludes with a demonstration of how the host of minor asteroids, especially the personal names, point to the specifics of whom a person magnetizes in partnerships.

Day Two –Asteroids and Synastry between Charts
Going beyond the issue of compatibility, we will examine the extent to which two charts are connected and how these connections, whether easy or difficult, speak to the nature and larger purpose of the relationship. What additional information do the contacts between planets, angles, and the major and minor asteroids in synastry analysis provide? We will complete the day with a discussion of the role of Saturn, Moon, and Lunar Nodes with the asteroids in viewing the relationship from the perspective of fate and destiny.
